00:53Vince McMahon, who's a little bit under the weather, unlike you, Shawn Michaels.
00:57Well, Vince McMahon awakens in the new year with the harsh bitter reality that he's
01:01not a kid anymore.
01:03Well, then man, Shawn Michaels is still the Heartbreak Kid, and
01:06it most assuredly is a happy new year.
01:09What a way to kick off 1995, the singing debut of Double J.
01:14I'll believe that when I hear it.
01:15We know Rod Stewart set a new attendance record last night in Rio de Janeiro.
01:19But that will pale in comparison with the singing debut of Double J tonight on
01:23Monday Night Raw.
01:24And of course, that big tag team matchup, Native American Nataka teaming up with
01:29Bam Bam to face Lex Luger and the British Bulldog.
01:32Hey, perhaps 1995, some gold will find its way to the Million Dollar Man's corporation.
01:38The Million Dollar Man has resolved that 1995, the gold will come his way tonight.
01:42We'll see.
01:43Happy New Year, everyone.
01:44Well, that's what it's all about right there at Money Motivation.
01:52Perhaps 1995, Shawn, will be a better year for the corporation.
01:56Well, you know, the Million Dollar Man spent most of 1994 putting his
01:59Million Dollar Corporation together.
02:01Now in 1995, he's gonna see what he's got.
02:03Well, this is gonna be a tremendous matchup.
02:06The ramifications of which could go all the way to the finals of the tag team.
02:11We know Lex Luger, in his relentless assault against the Million Dollar
02:14Corporation, has come up short time and time again.
02:17Tonight, he wants to even the odds with the British Bulldog against-
02:20Here we go, fireworks galore.
02:22And look at this, Bam Bam and Nataka.
02:24Hey, all over Luger.
02:25Once again, Luger's played for a set by the Million Dollar Corporation.

02:29Where's his tag team partner?
02:32British Bulldog finally making it down here.
02:34A little bit slow getting down to the ring.
02:36Just when you thought the ASPCA wasn't putting dogs to sleep anymore,
02:39the British Bulldog was caught sleeping in the back.
02:41Well, he's making up for it right now, hammering away here.
02:45You have to wonder if teamwork is gonna come into play.
02:49The Million Dollar Corporation coming down together, but Luger and
02:51the Bulldog coming out individually, tells a lot about a team.
02:54What a clothesline by Lex, Nataka bails out.
02:59And in the corner, being hammered out by the British Bulldog.

03:05Well, you know something, Big E can stop anybody in the World Wrestling Federation

03:09Now, don't forget, Shawn, it was just two weeks ago that Lex was counted out
03:13after he discovered Nataka was one of those druids.
03:17Well, you know something, Lex Luger has made his New Year's resolutions, and
03:20that is not to be quite so stupid in the New Year.
03:22But I don't know if things are gonna work out for him, Gorilla.
03:25And then, of course, last week, look at that,
03:27beautiful clothesline by Lex off the second turnbuckle.
03:30And another one, this time by the British Bulldog.
03:34As I was saying, he hooks the leg here, he could get him, no.
03:37A whole lot of clotheslines for guys that don't wear any shirts, huh, Gorilla?
03:40Well, last week, of course, it was David White at Nataka.
03:44That ended up in a double disqualification,
03:46as we see a nice arm wringer here by Lex.
03:49And who knows what this one's gonna bring.
03:51I get the impression that you wanna see something clean tonight.
03:53Is that it, Gorilla?
03:54You wanna see something clean, or one, two, three, or a submission?
03:56Might as well start off 1995 on the right foot.
03:59That's what we do here in the World Wrestling Federation,
04:01especially here on Monday Night Raw.
04:03Incidentally, when the Million Dollar Man was, look at this.
04:07About one step too late there, Bam Bam.
04:09BBI's a little reluctant to sign a contract with this match.
04:13We have to wonder if there's a little tension within the Million Dollar
04:16Corporation, but I think Moneybags is on top of it.
04:19Hey, we've seen in the past, in fact, Bam Bam,
04:21a little bit of dissension there in the ranks, for sure.
04:24Nobody knows more about dissension in the ranks than you, right?
04:28That's right, Gorilla.
04:29Well, you resemble that remark.

04:33And once again, Bam Bam about a step short.

04:47You gotta wonder what Lex Luger would do if he didn't have the clothesline for

04:59A lot of continuity here on the team of Tataka and Bam Bam.
05:02We expected to see that.
05:04The question in everyone's mind was, how well,
05:07what kind of an oil machine were the British Bulldog and Lex gonna be?
05:11That's right, it takes more than just training together,
05:13pushing all that iron around in the gym together to be a team.
05:16Lex Luger and the British Bulldog are two individuals out there,
05:19trying to put it together.
05:20Reverse knife edge finds the mark by Native American Tataka.
05:24And Lex, once again, feeling the wrath of Running Scared.
05:29Running Scared, the only place Tataka is running is straight to the Royal Rumble,
05:33along with Bam Bam and
05:34the World Wrestling Federation Tag Team Championships, Gorilla.
05:36And straight to the bank, I might add, too.
05:38Certainly, that's the only place you run when you're a million dollar race.
05:42First, a million dollar man claiming a big bonus in store for
05:45whomever brings gold in a corporation purse.
05:48You gotta admit, working for moneybags can't be all that bad.
05:52Good look at Davey Boy waiting impatiently, I might add, to get into this one.
05:58He doesn't look like he wants it all that bad.
05:59If he did, he'd be in there.
06:01Scoop slam here by Native American Tataka off the ropes.

07:09Well, obvious to me, at this point in time, that Tataka and
07:13Bam Bam are ready for that tag team tournament.
07:16They've made it all the way to the semifinals, and
07:18they're gonna have to face former WWF champions, the Head Trainers.
07:23That's right, you gotta admit, you have to think that Tataka and
07:26Bam Bam are the odds-on favorite to win the tag team tournament,
07:29just for the fact that they're a part of a million-dollar corporation.
07:33Of course, that match is gonna take place in just two weeks,
07:36exclusively on World Wrestling Federation Superstars.
07:40Notwithstanding the result of this particular matchup, am I correct, sir?
07:43Doesn't matter, doesn't matter.
07:43I just wanted to- Doesn't matter what happens in this one.
07:46And of course, the opposite side of the coin,
07:49the two guys that are partners here, Lex and the British Bulldog.
07:53Well, they'll be foes come Royal Rumble time.
07:55That's right, and you have to wonder tonight if that comes into their heads,
07:59right?

08:03Does he want Luger fresh for the Royal Rumble?

08:25this close to the finals in a tag team tournament.

08:29I don't really know exactly what to say.
08:30All I know is- I'm looking for an answer from you.
08:32You're looking in the wrong area, pal.

08:40He's always, look at this, Lex fighting his way out of this one.
08:43DiBiase always turns out to be a fountain of misinformation.
08:48Granted, I realize you think I am the all-knowing and
08:50the all-seeing of the World Wrestling Federation.
08:51But right now, only the Heartbreak Kid is on my mind, if you don't-
08:55Boy, caught one right in the kisser.
08:58And turns around and catches another one.
09:02I knew this guy wasn't too clever.
09:04One wasn't enough, he had to have himself another one.

09:22You have to say that Tataka and Bigelow definitely have the tag team strategy down.
09:27Luger and the Bulldog just aren't with it tonight.
09:30Well, Bam Bam and Tataka obviously have cut the ring in half very nicely.
09:34And if Lex doesn't make a tag here pretty soon, he's in deep trouble.
09:38As you would say, put a fork in him?
09:40Yeah, he might be done.
09:42Davey Boy fresh on the outside, just waiting to get in there.
09:46In the meantime, Lex is getting hammered.
09:48He's getting tenderized by Bigelow.
09:50Bigelow is picking his shots, and he's picking one more.
09:53He's gonna run Luger over like a freight train.
09:55Look at that, caught up with the momentum coming.

10:03Luger needs to get to the Bulldog now.

10:17And on stretch, and Tataka makes the tag back in.

10:24There's the power of the British Bulldog.
10:31Look at this.
10:33We're gonna see it, that pendant running slam.
10:36This is one Bulldog you don't want nipping at your pant leg.

10:41From the outside, Million Dollar Man pulling the leg of Tataka.
10:45Pulling him out of harm's way.
10:49And now it's pure mayhem.
10:51A pierce six, if you will, all you wrestling announcers out there.
10:54Here we go, a little bit of a good old fashioned fight on Monday Night Raw.
10:58Boy, oh boy, referee is ready to count on, because all four men are outside the ring.
11:04Bigelow is mauling the British Bulldog, Tataka hammering on Luger.
11:07Once again, the Million Dollar Corporation is one, two steps ahead.
11:11Notice how nicely DiBiase stayed out of the way there,
11:14as Bam Bam just got shoved face first into the steel steps, and now the steel post.
11:20He's gonna be pricking his teeth out of that metal in the morning.
11:23Boy, oh boy, hammering away here.
11:26This one, well, there's the bell, it's over.
11:28Some additional referees have come down and look at Million Dollar Man trying to
11:32herd his crew together and say, let's get out of here while it's getting good.
11:36Once again, Lex Luger falls short.
11:39He cannot satisfy himself with something clean over the Million Dollar Corporation.
11:43Obviously, both teams have been counted out here.
11:45While we try to sort everything out, we'll go to the Topster and
11:48our Royal Rumble Report.
11:50You know what?
12:05I don't think anybody made a New Year's resolution that said,
12:09I'd love to see a double count out match.
12:11But what are you gonna do?
12:12I mean, the referee has no other choice to make.

15:37Here's the deal.
15:3830 WWF superstars draw a number to determine their order of appearance
15:43before the match.
15:44We begin with two superstars in the ring.
15:46Then, every 60 seconds thereafter, another guy
15:50comes down the aisle and joins the action.
15:52You can only be eliminated by being thrown over the top rope
15:55and having your feet touch the floor.
15:58It is definitely every man for himself in this match.
16:01Partners mean nothing, brothers, cousin, nothing.
16:04The only thing you worry about are those 29 other guys.
16:08This is, without a doubt, the fastest 30 minutes on TV.
16:11You think Seinfeld goes by fast?
16:13Forget about it.
16:14There's so much action in this match, it really is unbelievable.
16:18That's why it's my personal favorite of the entire year.
16:20Keep in mind, the winner of this match automatically
16:23earns a shot at the WWF champion, whoever he may be, at WrestleMania 11.

43:43I think Luger's gonna have a tougher time than the Heartbreak Kid.

43:48He nailed, he tried for the double clothesline, but only rammed the Bam Bam.
43:54I think he missed Tataka, but it's hard to tell.
43:56Tataka is still feeling the effects of this match.
