I thought of making a device that would shoot an air "bubble" that would trigger when a squirrel touched the top of the birdfeeder. I also considered making a device that would flash a light and/or make a clapping sound and/or yell "GIT"!!! I can imagine, but, don't have the electronic know-how to make any such. You have my permission to do so! (Rober? Rube (Goldberg)? Hmmmm . . . ) ;)

Oddly, I found that homemade bird feeders made from 2-liter soda bottles worked best against squirrels, but, they are not fool-proof. Cornell and Audubon both say that there is no such thing as a squirrel-PROOF birdfeeder; only squirrel-RESISTANT ones, and even then!

Not really trying to stop squirrels from eating bird feed! I will do it!
