Now, Reuters reports Democratic donors, strategists, and campaign insiders say they think Sen. Kamala Harris (D-Ca.) should be the one. The only black woman in the US Senate, Harris has marched in the streets and sponsored new police reform legislation on Capitol Hill. The 55-year-old has been a forceful proponent of sweeping social change and a fierce critic of President Donald Trump.
