For the promotion and uplift of Punjabi Language, along with its different dialectal flavours, the first Punjabi FM Radio Station named ‘FM-95’ Punjab Rung(FM-95) was launched on October 11th, 2007 and is running successfully under the auspices of the Institute.Many scholars, writers, poets and especially, the Punjabi masses consider this a great step to revitalize Punjabi Language, Art and Culture.. More importantly, it is not only providing infrastructure for the promotion of Punjabi Language Art and Culture and Heritage but successfully bridging gap between government and masses. It tries to establish harmony amongst different sects.

Coverage area of transmission of radio is 100k.m. FM-95 Punjab Rung production team organizes special programs on important events and occasion of religious, cultural and national importance, whether it is Rabi-ul-Awwal or Moharram-ul-Haraam. A special twelve day transmission was carried out for Rabi-ul-Awwal and a special transmission was also carried out for Kashmir day with equal religious and national fervor.

The Institute is striving to utilize this medium for information, education and entertainment besides creating harmony amongst all segments of the society.
