Established in 1988-89, the Department of Communication, has emerged as a premier university department in the country. What started off as a Discipline with just one programme soon evolved into a department offering PG & Ph.D programmes.
The Department offers a full-time PG programme with specialisations in three streams viz:
> Television & Radio > Communication & Media Studies > Print Journalism & New Media
