The story begins in the last moments at Yggdrasil, a popular online game is about to close. Main protagonist Momonga decides to stay up until the last minute with his favorite game and wait for server down. Incidentally, the server does not shutdown and Momonga is stuck in his own character and teleported to another world. The mighty lord now goes on to explore the new world and face new challenges.
