Five Belgian artists in synergy take you deep into a colorful atmosphere. Their surprisingly different universes mixed together give life to a definitely original and enchanting neo-psychedelic rock.
The Narcotic Daffodils were born in May 2009. The singer Irene Csordas was looking for a multicultural project inspired by fusion and experimentations, she met her musicians to play at « Brussels Jazz Marathon ».
Inspired by their fathers (Caribou, Radiohead, King Crimson,Gong etc), The Narcotic Daffodils combine sensitivity and groove in their experimentations. Since its inception, the Belgian neo-psychedelic band have performed multiple gigs throughout Belgium mostly and a few in Italy, Holland and the Uk's.
The CD « The Narcotic Daffodils »recorded in Brussels has been mixed by Paolo Negri, producer and organist of the Link Quartet and was released by Music Brussels the collective, distributed by Fakto Records(Europe -released on May 14th 2011) and it’s Oh! Music (Japan – released on Sept 21st 2011 ). The Narcotic Daffodils have been re-released with the song The Crazy Dwarf on an american compilation titled »Psychedelic World Music »from Trail Records(US-released on august 2012). Soon they will start to record the second album.
