I am a finance Professional working and living in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. In 2014 I joined Arab Gulf Cables factory LLC, UAE as a finance Manager. Previously I was a Director at The Vision Shipping LLC Dubai, General Manager of Al Taher Group, and held finance portfolios in GGICO Group UAE, Gateway Inc. Malaysia, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Southern Group, Sri Lanka, Jinasena - Solideal (Belgium) Partnership –Sri Lanka, KPMG Sri Lanka.
Basically I have served different aspects of the Construction and Information Technology and Supply Chain Management Industries being in charge of finance and Administration. I have got exposure in the manufacturing, International Trade, Import Export Logistics distribution, financing and service delivery in all aspects of the above industries. The products I have handled includes Auditing services, Solid tyres, Water pumps, Shrimp processing, Garments, Injection molding construction products, Civil & Road construction, Construction heavy equipment, Metal Quarry, metal crushing, vehicle maintenance, Tea Plantation, Orthodox and CTC Tea, Computer & Lap tops, MEP Projects, FM Projects, AC Marketing, Generator rentals, Extrusion pipes for construction and Electrical, 3PL Logistics, freight forwarding and Warehousing.

I have devoted the eighties for education. With the dot com revolution in the 90’s and the millennium, I got into the Supply Chain Management of Computer parts connecting US, Europe and Asia for manufacture of desktops and laptops for the US MNC Gateway Inc. for the Asian markets. I visited Japan and studied the cost savings made by Toyota’s JIT procurement and SCM strategy involving over 25,000 suppliers under AOTS management development programme. I visited Turkey to study the operation of the Steel rebar industry, and China which has become a competitive supplier of materials to the construction industry. I explored the GCC countries for cross border business potentials.
