一種新型態的電影類型，如其游擊之名，在發行時避開常規戰(院線 放映)，以一種流動 gigs (地下演唱會) 的方式、小眾串連、 旁敲側擊、聲東擊西、出其不意、 在任何可能的地點(倉庫，美術館，藝廊，無線電視，手機、電子書 頁、個人資料簿（PDA）、網際網路、電玩與多媒體)進行電影放 映。經由一個點一個點的擴散和有組織性的零星攻擊，到最後必須達 到一種大規模的地下放映。
2006年，吳康豪 ( NOVA GOH ) 和陳建軒 ( ALFIE CHEN ) 於中華民國台北創造游擊電影 (GUERRILLA MOVIE ) 一詞，他們把所拍攝的第一部長片YOLATENGO ( 導演: NOVA GOH 視覺: ALFIE CHEN 網頁設計CHI ) 視為第一部游擊電影。

"What is Guerrilla movie " ----
As being a new wave of cinema, Guerrilla, as being named after, is defined as not being distributed in movie theaters but in venues where floating gigs held , with constant connections among minority with uncertainties , and surprises instead . In any kinds of venues where you can imagine such as warehouses , fine art museums , art galleries , television , mobile phone , e-book , PDA , cyber , Tv games , and multimedia devices….and so on , could all be the medias transmitting the Guerrilla movies. At first , spread by one to another and go on with organized scattered attacks and achieve a kind of extensive, underground release in the end.
In 2006, NOVA GOH , ALFIE CHEN create the name which is the Guerrilla movie in Taipei ,Taiwan(R.O.C)where is the home town of Ang Lee , the first Oscar winner from Taiwan. They produce their first Film, Yolatengo , (Direct by Nova Goh, Visual by Alfie Chen, Web Design consultant by Chi Hsieh) as the first Guerrilla movie.
