US economic blockade of Cuba rejected by 188 countries

Yesterday the United Nations (UN) Security Council held its 23rd vote since 1992 to end the United States economic blockade against Cuba. Just like last year's vote, 188 countries voted in favor of lifting the embargo, 2 against (Israel and the United States) and there were three abstentions. The blockade has been in place for a half century, at great economic cost to Cuba. Alexandra Hall reports from New York. teleSUR
