L’inventeur du rock psychédélique : En 1965, avec le clavier Richard Wright, le bassiste Roger Waters et le batteur Nicolas Mason, il fonde le groupe The Pink Floyd Sound, un nom choisi en hommage à deux musiciens de blues, Pink Anderson et Floyd Council.
