...quite popular. The Carpenters recorded this song for their last television special, Music, Music, Music!. Richard Carpenter officially released the song on their album, Lovelines in 1989, six years after his sister death. He re-released the song on their second compilation, "Interpretations" in 1994. He released a VHS tape called "Interpretations," which held the "When I Fall in Love" music video. "When I Fall in Love" was also recorded by Céline Dion and Clive Griffin, and released as a single in 1993. It was featured in the Sleepless in Seattle movie. An instrumental version of the song is played during the ballroom scene at the beginning of the film Eyes Wide Shut.
