Iraqi cities hit by deadly wave of bombings

Bombings in Iraq, including a series of blasts mainly targeting Shiite areas of Baghdad, killed at least 29 people and wounded 70 on Wednesday, security and medical officials said. A car bomb in Kirkuk was the day's deadliest single attack, killing eight people and wounding another eight.
