Official Cannes poster unveiled on the Croisette ahead of festival's grand opening

Ready. Set. Action. Preparations are underway for the 66th annual Cannes Film Festival. Workers busied themselves on Monday (May 13) setting up the official festival banner - this year, depicting a shot of Joanne Woodward and Paul Newman from 1963.
Final touches were also being completed on the prestigious hotels and beach front clubs which will host parties and premieres over the next few weeks, as Hollywood A-listers and international glitterati descend on the Riviera - which this year include Leonardo DiCaprio and Nicole Kidman, among others.
The festival launches on May 15 and will run through the 26th.
