Huggies Debuts TweetPee Sensor to Detect Diaper Wetness

Huggies unveils a TweetPee sensor to alert parents of wet diapers.
Changing diapers is a never-ending task for new mommies.
Huggies is using technology to help make it easier for moms to know when their infant needs a change.
Called TweetPee, a sensor shaped like a little blue bird, attaches to the front of the diaper and detects moisture when the baby lets a little something go. Then that sensor sends a Tweet to mom or dad, letting them know that it’s time to get up and change the child.
A TweetPee application allows users to monitor and keep track of the number of diapers used within a certain time frame, so parents can make sure they have enough baby undies for the upcoming tweet alerts.
Currently TweetPee is only available in limited markets.
There’s a huge market for such applications for both babies and adults. Recently, a new app came about, which has a simple goal of masking unpleasant bathroom noises by releasing fake sounds of a running sink or shower.
The idea is that you are saving resources by not depleting actual water.
