Shri Adi Venimadhav temple in Arail, Prayag

Benimadhav Temple, located in proximity to the Prayag Ghat is situated on the banks of river Ganges. This temple is dedicated to Lord Vishnu or Narayana and to Laxmi, who was the wife of Narayana. Believed to be blessed with the presence of idols of God Vishnu and his wife Laxmi, this temple is also known as LaxmiNarayana temple.

Moreover, it is also believed that the temple is the same place where eminent Guru of Vaishnavas of Bengal, Chaitanya Mahaprabhu has also paid homage. He was not only an important leader but also the one who initiated the movement of modernism.
