The Wanted walk like 'NSYNC in their new "Walks Like Rihanna" music video! What's up guys you're watching ClevverMusic with your music news update. UK anti-boy band The Wanted have dropped their anticipated music video for their new single "Walks Like Rihanna". But instead of putting Riri or a Riri lookalike in the video, they've opted to borrow from some former boy band music videos! The guys, Nathan, Tom, Max, Jay and Siva sit in a meeting with their seemingly older hot video director and brainstorm concepts for their music video. First we see the guys try their hand at the "fun and quirky" puppet dance moves from 'NSYNC's "Bye Bye Bye" music video from 2000. But that fails to impress. Next, the guys look to 'NSYNC rival The Backstreet Boys for a more "mature" vibe, copying BSB's "I Want It That Way" music video. They don all white outfits and perform choreographed dance moves in an airport lobby and our fav shot is Max kissing his guns- yup. However, their director muse isn't happy with that attempt either so last they try a "black and white" theme from UK boy band Take That and their "Back For Good" video. Folks in the US might not recognize that video, but its ok cause in the end The Wanted don't use any of those concepts, they use the director in the video and she walks like Rihanna. We're not that good at math but 5 guys for 1 girl doesn't seem right- so who gets the girl in the end? You'll have to decide for yourself.

I guess imitation is the highest form of flattery. But what do you think of the video? Give it a watch right now and then tell us if you think borrowing from a former boy band was a good idea for The Wanted? Thanks so much for tuning in to ClevverMusic, don't forget to subscribe to our channel if you want more where this came from! I'm Misty Kingma in Hollywood catch ya later.
