A college student allegedly carried drugs and an alligator in his vehicle.

Sure, most college students like to party. But apparently not as much as one man who was busted for allegedly having prescription pills, marijuana and an alligator in his vehicle.

Recently police discovered 21-year-old Shane Allen resting his upper body over the steering wheel of his Jeep, completely passed out. Allen, who is a student at Tulsa Community College is now facing drug charges for possessing Xanax and pot.

He may also have to pay fines for having the nearly 5-foot long alligator, which was found caged in the back seat of Allen’s vehicle. The suspect told cops he borrowed the reptile from a friend and authorities believe he may have planned on bringing it on campus for a presentation.

Last year, police officers got quite a surprise while conducting a search in Brooklyn. Two alligators, two bearded dragons, a tarantula, a scorpion and a gecko were found in a fifth floor public housing apartment.

They also found five pythons, along with a boa constrictor. Animal control workers were brought on the scene and the exotic pets were confiscated.
