Production on Captain America: The Winter Soldier is moving along nicely and we're getting our first look at one of the new heroes set to debut in the film! We previously showed you a glimpse of Captain America's new Secret Avengers inspired suit and today we're getting our first look at Anthony Mackie as Falcon! As many of you know, Falcon made his debut in 1969 as the first mainstream African-American hero. A member of S.H.I.E.L.D., Falcon is a skilled martial artist and gymnast who utilizes man-made wings to fly. He also possess the power to see through the eyes of nearby birds, though this power will most likely not be part of his cinematic powers. We can see from the pic that the flashy costume from the comics is replaced with a more military inspired look. We also see that Falcon won't be afraid of using a gun...or two, something that was missing from Captain America's costume in The Avengers, but is rumored to return for the sequel. As for Falcon's wings, they are suspiciously absent here, but perhaps they will be CGI additions? We'll have to wait and see, but what do you think of Falcon's costume? Do you dig the realistic military attire or would you have liked to see them stick closer to the comic book? Share your thoughts below or tweet us @ClevverMovies. Until next time, I'm Erin Darling, thanks for watching.
