In many cities across Africa, street children are a common phenomenon. Some have resorted to begging, others doing odd jobs while the rest indulge themselves in petty theft for survival. According to research findings by independent consultants in Ethiopia, these children whose ages range between 6 and 18 resort to streets because they think life is better in big cities.
