Is Lee Pace landing a villanous role in Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy? The Hobbit's, Lee Pace was originally one of the bazillion actors who were being considered for Guardians' superhero, Peter Quill AKA Star Lord, but Pace got out superhero'd by Chris Pratt for that role. But don't think that's gonna stop him from claiming his territory in the galaxy, because TheWrap is reporting that Lee Pace is in the final negotiations for the role of a villian in the new movie. So, Pace may get the ultimate payback fighting against Chris Pratt. This sounds like the perfect recipe for a superhero movie, right? Assuming they work out all the details, Pace will join a powerful superhero ensemble including Chris Pratt as Star Lord, Zoe Saldana as Gamora, WWE star Dave Bautista as Drax the Destroyer and Michael Rooker as Yondu. We aren't sure just yet which villian Pace will actually play in the new film, which is set to hit theaters on August 1, 2014, but we've come up with a couple of options that you all can chime in on. Could Pace be playing Adam Warlock? who crosses over from bad to good to help the team battle Thanos or could Pace be playing Thanos himself? Hmmm....that may be a stretch, since Marvel may be trying to save Thanos for The Avengers 2. But maybe Pace could take on the role of The Controller, who is an expert in mind control and Thanos' main henchman, but in my opinion I dont think he has the face structure or the build for it. Whoever it is, we shouldnt have to wait too long to get the news because Guardian's shooting schedule is supposed to get underway in June of this summer. So, I have to hear your thoughts on this! Which villian would you like to see Pace play in the new Guardians of the Galaxy? Make sure you give us your picks down below, and follow us on twitter too at ClevverMovies.
