When you think of Walmart, many things may pop into your mind... but are movie tickets one of them? Well, it should be! Because Warner Bros has decided to partner with the superstore chain to offer people an exclusive chance to buy tickets to select screenings of Man of Steel, which will be shown on June 13th which is the night before the movie opens in theaters. Each guest is limited to four tickets, but you do have the option to see the movie in either 2D or 3D. And that's not all folks. If you purchase these tickets, you will also get a digital comic book that was written by David Goyer, who actually wrote Man of Steel...which is pretty cool...and you will have an opportunity to pre-order the movie's Blu-Ray combo pack, or digital version if that's more your style, which promises to have exclusive Man of Steel footage. And if you are out shopping for the perfect Man of Steel wardrobe to wear at the movie, Wal-Mart's got you covered there too, because they will start selling movie T-shirts and other goodies starting on April 28th. And don't forget about your favorite movie host when you are buying T-shirts for all of your friends and family. Supe is my favorite, after all! Since this is the first time a major retailer has partnered with a movie studio in this way, the big concern is the boxoffice. No one knows just yet if these purchases will go towards the movies opening day numbers, or if they will count as pre-sales but either way I don't think any of the fans are complaining that we could get to see the film one day early. So...Is there enough incintive there for you to want to see this movie just one day earlier than it's scheduled release? Who out there is gonna give this a shot? Let us know in the comments below, and make sure you have liked our Facebook page for more movie updates and news when we get it. Thanks for watching, Im Erin White.
