    US high schoolers say no more to 'white prom'

    In the US, it is prom season once again -- the dance that for many Americans marks the end of high school and the beginning of adulthood. In the southern state of Georgia, however, it is a reminder that years of racial segregation are not yet over. More than 40 years after the country's Supreme Court ordered school integration, many schools in rural Georgia still prohibits the mixing of white students with their Black, Latino and Asian classmates during the occasion. Now, a group of inter-racial students are defying the ban, and working to end, once and for all, what many calls a racist tradition. Al Jazeera's Andy Gallacher reports from Rochelle, Georgia.
