RUDYTRIXX - WHERE THE WILD THINGS ARE

PRESENTED BY SAABEAH

RudyTrixX are a energetic five piece band hailing from the East, West and South of Ireland. They blend a mix of genres ranging from Soul to Indie. Over the past 6 months we have been successful around Dublin gigging regularly in established venues. We have played in Whelan's , The Button Factory, Sweeney's, The Village and The Mercantile to name but a few.

Over the last 4 months we have kept busy because we were picked up by NDT productions as part of the Genre Free Project, this is a project that promotes up and coming Irish bands . We recorded two tracks that are part of a compilation album available to download as of March 2013.

Each member adds a unique element to the band Callan Rudy Qualter is the front man/ songwriter who takes influence from Hip-hop, Funk and Soul. He is influenced by artists like Bill Withers , Plan B and Eminem. His soulful tone and lyrical style is profoundly unique.

Sean Leonard the newest member of the band contributes greatly to the sound as he is a very talented songwriter. He adds the Indie sound to the band by constructing catchy riffs and structure to the songs.

Sean Mcmanamon is the lead guitarist in the band, his knowledge of the guitar allows him to gloss off the songs while adding his own twist to the music.

Johnny McGuinness is the bass player and back bone to the sound his steady bass lines and creativity add a soul to the music. His riffs never fail to make the listener move.

Last but not least is the drummer Emmet Harrigan, he is the engine of the band. He adds significant technical ability to the music. It is apparent that he is a stand out drummer and he is a precious attribute to the band.
