Former Pakistani president, Pervez Musharraf, appears in court Saturday after being arrested Friday in Islamabad.

The Pakistani anti-terrorism court ordered Musharraf to be remanded in judicial custody for two weeks.

His lawyer said Musharraf would apply for bail.

The former army chief is accused of ordering the illegal detention of judges in 2007.

Musharraf, who seized power in a military coup in 1999, stepped down in 2008.
