A bizarre cat theater in Moscow reopens.

Cat lovers now have another reason to go to Moscow. The Moscow Cat theater has reopened.

Run by an acclaimed animal trainer, the studio features kitties performing stunts.

The theater was previous closed for about a year due to renovations but recently reopened its doors to visitors. The man behind the performances dons a clown costume and guides his feline friends on the stage to carry out stunts.

The trainer states “We have more than 120 cats in total. We haven't brought all of them here, only part of them. Step by step we will be bringing them in. Soon we'll have a whole cats' world here.”

While the cat theater showcases cat actors, other establishments let you take your pets to movie theaters. In 2011, the world’s first theater for dogs opened in Sweden. The project manager stated “As long as it is the family's best friend, we promise not to discriminate against moviegoers and welcome both reptiles as well as fish in aquariums.”
