Rumour has it Adele's new album will be "edgy", we'll explain! Hey guys, thanks for tuning into ClevverMusic for all your music news. Big stuff for Adele fans; she's currently back in studio and is the cover girl for Elle Magazine's May edition! Adele has been on a bit of a hiatus since becoming a Mum, but has recently resurfaced at the Golden Globes this year, and performed at the Oscars.

24-year-old Adele's new album will be the follow-up to 21, making it her third studio album. A shift in from usual heartbreak lyrics will be expected, since the UK singer has fallen in love, gotten engaged to boyfriend Simon Konecki, and became a Mother all since her last album. A source told The Sun Newspaper, "Adele wants to move with the times and is trying to make her new record sound as edgy as possible." No doubt pressure to match the success of '21' has Adele feeling she needs to reinvent her classic sound.

It has been reported that she is working with some of UK's best producers/songwriters including James Ford and Kid Harpoon who have worked with both Florence + the Machine as well as Jessie Ware. Going with the theme of Adele's last two albums, maybe her third album will be titled '24'? While we wait for more album news, we've been graced with a cover spread on Adele for Elle's May magazine which celebrates women in music. The spread features tributes to Adele from Britney Spears, Katy Perry and more—that's huge! Alicia Keys and Rita Ora cover the alternate covers for the May issue, which is out April 23rd. As always, thank you so much for watching, I'm Misty Kingma, see you later.
