Under attack over his crass remarks on drought situation in the state, Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar has found himself in fresh trouble. Pune-based NGO has alleged that while Ajit Pawar was the water resources minister between 2003 and 2011, he diverted almost 2000 million cubic meter of water meant for irrigation to industries. Meanwhile, the opposition has raised its pitch, demanding Ajit Pawar to resign immediately.
