Luke Bryan shocks the 2013 ACM Awards winning "Entertainer of the Year"! Hello guys thanks for watching your ACM Award Highlights on ClevverMusic. The 48th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards were held in Las Vegas Sunday April 7th showcasing Country's biggest musicians. The three hour show saw dozens of performances with a few awards given out in between. The big surprise of the night was Luke Bryan winning the coveted big award Entertainer of the Year, beating out Taylor Swift and last year's winner Blake Shelton. Luke appeared just as shocked as he fought back tears and took his trophy from Shania Twain who presented him the award, saying, "I don't know what to say guys...Thank you so much...This is a defining moment of my life."

Other big winner of the night was Miranda Lambert who took home three awards for Female Vocalist of the Year, Single Record of the Year, and Record of the year. Husband and songwriting collaborator Blake Shelton accepted Record of the Year award with her and admitted in the acceptance speech she taught him how to write a good song. Surprisingly Taylor Swift went home empty handed, despite being nominated for four awards.

As for the show, best buds Luke Bryan and Blake Shelton co-hosted this year's spectacle, and their opening number included an elaborate performance featuring Sheryl Crow, Pistol Annies, and Brad Paisley. Other notable performances of the night included many never before seen duets, for instance, John Mayer and Brad Paisley. The guys both rocked out on the guitars to "Beat This Summer" and took turns singing the track. Our favorite duet of the night was Taylor Swift and Tim McGraw singing "Highway Don't Care" with American Idol judge Keith Urban on the guitar. Taylor swayed her hips and we saw a sexy side of her as she sang with her Idol while an endless highway played on the screen behind them.

To end the night of boot stompin' performance, Hunter Hayes premiered his new song at "I Want Crazy". Big white balloons floated around on stage and we saw Taylor Swift rocking out all by herself in the audience. When the song was over Hunter introduced Mr. Stevie Wonder and they duet on Stevie's song "Sir Duke". Stevie also closed the show with "Signed, Sealed, Delivered" with co-hosts Luke and Blake helping him out. Tell us you guys-- should Luke have won Entertainer of the Year? We wanna hear from you. I'm Misty Kingma, you'll hear from me again later.
