"Come and Get It" Selena fans!! The first single off the star's highly anticipated next album has officially hit the public! After a few teasers last week, Gomez visited KIIS FM this morning to make the official debut of the very buzzed about new single, "Come and Get It!" And of course, in addition to introducing the track's world premiere, Selena chatted candidly about the album as well as her inspiration behind the song --- saying QUOTE, "In this time in my life I'm trying to exude confidence and I think the song is very powerful and it's fun and it's a great introduction." She also mentioned that she mixed it up a bit on this album and that the new track does quote have a bit of tribal and Middle Eastern feel to it that she loves. We also love this new sound from Selena --- but who is it that the 20-year-old is singing about? Well there's one line Ryan called out in particular, in which Selena sings, "I love you much, too much to hide you, this love ain't finished yet. So baby whenever you're ready..." before leading into the chorus that repeatedly sings quote, "When you ready come and get it." Naturally Ryan speculates that the line is meant to call out ex-boyfriend Justin Bieber but Selena assures him that that is NOT the case. In fact, after joking around that the song is actually about Ryan --- Selena gets serious and explains quote, "Honestly, to be 100% real. It's not really about a specific person. The reason I wanted it to be the first single was because it exudes confidence and strength." Check out the full track below and let us know what you think of the latest taste of new music from Miss Gomez --- and ps, what do you guys make of the lyrics?
