Dory is still swimming. Yes, after 10 years all that swimming finally paid off, because one of the most beloved Pixar characters is finally headed back to the big screen. The studio hasn't said much about the project since it was first announced a year or so ago, but today we finally have a release date of November 25th 2015, and a title for the sequel which will be called "Finding Dory." The voice of Dory is of course the always funny, Ellen DeGeneres, and Ellen is more than excited saying quote "I have waited for this day for a long, long, long, long, long, long time...the time they took was worth it. The script is fantastic." From the title we can safely assume that most of the film will be about Dory's story. When we first met her in the first film, she didn't have much of a back story, and in this sequel we should expect to see her reunited with her fish family. It will take place along the California coast line, around a year after the Finding Nemo story, and will bring back some of our favorite characters like Marlin, Nemo, and the Tank Gang as well as introduce several new characters into the story. In 2003, Finding Nemo was a huge hit for Pixar, and won the Academy Award for Best Animated Feature that year, and at the time it was the highest grossing G-rated movie of all time. So, those are some big shoes to fill, and I want to know if you think that this Dory sequel could be as great as the original Finding Nemo? And are there any signature voices that you would like to hear join the cast? Leave us your thoughts in the comments section, and go and like us over on our Facebook page! From our studio in Hollywood, Im Erin White.
