Beyoncé pays tribute to the late great Amy Winehouse! Hey guys thanks for finding ClevverMusic on YouTube! E! Online broke the news that Queen Beyoncé will re-team up with Andre 3000 to duet on a cover of Amy Winehouse's "Back to Black" song. The duet will be recorded for the upcoming "The Great Gatsby" soundtrack and this feature shouldn't come as much of a surprise as her husband Jay-Z is producing the soundtrack. An Interscope Records rep said, "It's a very different take on 'Back to Black'."

Well, we'd expect that, as "Back to Black" is a jazz song, and it's not a duet. We can't wait to hear the R&B/ Hip Hop version from Bey & Andre. They previously recorded "Party" on Beyonce's "4" album. Tracks that appeared in The Great Gatsby movie trailer included Jay's "No Church In The Wild" and Jack White's cover of U2's "Love is Blindness" so likely these will appear on the soundtrack as well. The film is inspired by the classic book and takes place in the 1920's so we definitely understand why Amy's retro song would be chosen for the film and we're sure Beyoncé will do it justice. Leonardo DiCaprio, Tobey McGuire, and Carey Mulligan star in the remake film.

The Great Gatsby will premiere at Cannes Film Fest on May 15, no word yet on the soundtrack release. Stay tuned to ClevverMusic every day for more music news, we're here for you! I'm Misty Kingma thanks again for watching and I'll see you soon.
