Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) has warned the people not to vote for Pakistan Peoples Party, Awami National Party and Muthida Qaumi Movement in the upcoming election.
The announcement was made in an eight minute video released by the TTP from an undisclosed location. In the video TTP’s spokesperson Ehsanullah Ehsan claimed that the security forces and government are not serious about the peace dialogue, which is why the TTP have decided to postpone the peace talks.
With masked armed men standing behind him, the TTP spokesperson further demanded that the people not participate in the public gatherings and rallies of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM), Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) and Awami national Party (ANP), claiming all of these parties are on the TTP’s (hit) list.
In a Taliban video, Adnan Rasheed, who took part in a previous attempt to assassinate Pervaiz Musharraf, warned: "The mujahideen of Islam have prepared a special squad to send Musharraf to hell. There are suicide bombers, snipers, a special assault unit and a close combat team.
