Yuu Yuu Hakusho 2: Kakutou no Shou review. Classic Game Room presents a CGR Undertow import review of Yuu Yuu Hakusho 2: Kakutou no Shou for Super Famicom developed by TOSE and published by Namco. Fingers turning into guns, 2D fighting that DIDN'T originate in an arcade, dogs and cats, living together... you get the point. Yuu Yuu Hakusho 2: Kakutou no Shou is a stark departure from its more cinematic, rock-paper-scissors-esque predecessor, as this new version plays to much more familiar concepts of fighting, as popularized by Capcom's and SNK's contemporary titles. And despite these rather derivative beginnings, the game itself takes a step ahead of the competition through the use of some concepts - like destructible terrain and desperation attacks - a little bit ahead of its time. This video review features video gameplay footage of Yuu Yuu Hakusho 2: Kakutou no Shou for Super Famicom and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's TJ.
