It's a new twist to the Indian Premier League (IPL) saga. A massive stand off building up as Sri Lankan legend and World Cup winning Captain Arjuna Ranatunga urging his players to put pride before money. The outburst coming barely 24 hours after the IPL Governing Council decided to bar Sri Lankans from playing in Chennai urging the cricketers to boycott the cash-rich IPL. Currently a member of the Parliament in the Emerald Islands, Ranatunga termed the decision nothing more than just a mere political gimmick. With just a week to go for the lucrative league, it is to be seen if the Sri Lankans put pride before money and boycott the IPL?
