    Katie Ferrara is an acoustic-pop singer-songwriter from Los Angeles, California. Her influences include artists such as Joni Mitchell, Fiona Apple, Ingrid Michaelson, Meiko, and Norah Jones.

    Katie took up playing the acoustic guitar at the age of 16, and began singing after joining her high school choir. She was awarded a scholarship for excellence in music, which enabled her to receive voice lessons for one year. Katie is also a graduate of Pitzer College, where she received a degree in Psychology.

    In 2010, Katie left the country to live in London, England. During her stay, she became Featured Artist at Soho's Spice of Life Cafe and recorded her original music with Producer Jonathan Guillaumat. She has released her first EP "When Love's Not Around" in December 2011, which is available on CD baby, itunes, amazon mp3, and Spotify.

    Katie's music is playing several internet radio stations including,, and . She has also been a featured guest on 99.3 KCLA FM, and 88.7 KSPC FM, and her music is playing weekly at these stations.

    In LA, Katie has played at The House of Blues in Hollywood, and at the Lighthouse Café in Hermosa Beach. She was also a featured artist at Rhino Records in Claremont, CA.

    Katie is currently recording her next release in London with Producer Jonathan Guillaumat
