Columbus, OH psych folk shamans Way Yes crafted rubbery, island-inspired pop jams on their 2012 debut Walkability. “Colerain”, the melancholic the first single from their upcoming album Tog Pebbles (out May 15 on Lefse), is filled out with noodly, echoing guitar work, gurgling tape loops, and a thick tapestry of overlapping percussion parts to create the impression a small village of musicians are performing behind the four principals.
