Rest easy, Lil Wayne is alive and recovering from his second bout of seizures in one week. Hey guys thank for tuning back in to ClevverMusic. Last week, Lil Wayne AKA Weezy was sent to Cedars Sinai Hospital on Tuesday after suffering a seizure. 30-year-old Wayne was released the next morning, but supposedly was readmitted Friday after drinking too much sizzurp, prescription-strength cough syrup laced with codeine and other extras, which produces a high feeling. His stomach was pumped three times and to make it worse Weezy suffered additional seizures Friday afternoon.

Here's where the story gets murky. Friday evening news outlets started reporting that Weezy was near death and in critical condition in the ICU. TMZ alleged the rapper was being read his last rites and was surrounded by his family. The Internet started buzzing with this shocking news that we could suddenly lose one of hip hops most influential people. But alas, a tweet from Wayne's Twitter account reassured us he was ok. At 6:30pm he tweeted, "I'm good everybody. Thx for the prayers and love." Following, TMZ removed the last rites news from their site. Wayne's pals started tweeting about his condition, namely Mack Maine, the President of Young Money. Mack tweeted, "Wayne is alive and well! We watching the Syracuse game... thanks for the prayers and concern...he will update you all soon. #love"

This is not the first time Wayne has been admitted to the hospital for seizures. Last year, he had to emergency land his plane after suffering a seizure. Wayne has also been said to been battling codeine addiction for years, and his friends believe he may need rehab. Over the weekend a slew of stars visited Weezy in the hospital including Drake, Usher, Nicki Minaj and more. As of Monday morning Wayne is still in the hospital, we'll keep you updated on his condition. What do you think of this- is it a sizzurp addiction or something else? We'll keep Weezy in our thoughts.
