Justin Timberlake's release of "The 20/20 Experience" isn't out until March 19, but there's already talks of a sequel.! Happy Monday everyone, thanks for tuning in to ClevverMusic for all your music news. Justin has been non-stop over the past week, co-hosting Jimmy Fallon's late night talk show and performing at SXSW over the weekend, and the madness doesn't stop there. JT rocked out with The Roots drummer Questlove at SXSW music festival in Austin Saturday night, where a suspected rumor was confirmed. It turns out that Justin's March 19 album release, is only half of the 20/20 experience. And if you think about it makes sense. "Spoiler Alert," Questlove wrote, on Okayplayer.com's message board stating, "20/20 Vol.2 comes out in November, 10 songs now...10 songs later = 20 vision." Looks like we have even more Justin to look forward to this Fall! There are also speculations of another collaboration with Jay-Z in the works. Apparently, Questlove's comment was in response to a commenter's opinion of the New York Times article review of the album which stated, "The 20/20 Experience " is an album of largely inconsequential beauty, showing Mr. Timberlake as an artist with no incentive to innovate, making this primarily a paean to brand maintenance. It's not meant to change minds." Yes, this is the first time we have heard anything new from Justin since 2006, but that remark is a little harsh. Questlove goes on to respond to that comment about the upcoming album, stating ,it may not appeal to everyone because of his new "throwback" sound, but it is "ballsy" and he admires Justin for taking that leap. Be sure to check out the first round of 10 songs on "The 20/20 Experience" out tomorrow, March 19 and stay tuned for more news about the Vol. 2 album dropping this Fall. What is your take on Justin's new sound? And will you pick up both albums? Let us know and write your comments below and don't forget to subscribe to our channel!
