The mystical has defined my life and presaged my future. Vivid memories of both mundane and extraordinary events and the unique impressions they left on my spirit mysteriously conspired to instill a passion in me to seek out physical and metaphysical truths.
My childhood taught me both compassion and courage and singularly taught me that I wanted to be of service and I wanted to help people. That being said, I care about ALL people no matter their color, religion, flag, country, etc. I care that humans act as stewards of the planet. I care that people are starving. I care that Jamie Oliver is creating a food revolution. And, I am acutely aware that there is a conscious revolution happening around the world in politics, environmentalism, science, religious freedoms, gender equality ...
As a Jewish child growing up in Nazi Germany I learned the Yin and Yang of tolerance and compassion and fear and hate. Taking refuge in Columbia in 1940, I learned Spanish and reveled in the wet and warmth of Barranquilla. On to America where I learned English and to play baseball and football. Then to Japan as part of the American Special Services unit where I immersed myself in the culture and learned Japanese. Back to America, I moved to California taking up residence in Santa Monica and runner up in "Mr. California" in 1950! I began to focus my energy on all aspects of movement — dancing, bodybuilding, yoga, martial arts — the very beginning of an epic journey into body awareness and the healing foundations of my life's work.
I gained my expertise through the teachings of various healers, shamans and Qi Gong masters as well as White Tantric wisdom and yogic knowledge through my mentorship with Yogi Bhajan. Maintaining an active private practice, serving a worldwide client base of entertainers, politicians, diplomats, celebrities, CEO's, athletes in the NFL, NBA and ATP, track & field and figure skating Olympians as well as extreme athletes in snowboarding, surfing and motocross who want results that give them both a physical and psychological edge is my passion.
I am most grateful for the blessings, teachings, insights and perspectives that Yogiji, Van and Tony brought to my life as we explored mutual values, interests and goals. Each of us making a difference and having a positive effect on the life of the other. All three of these relationships were shared opportunities for learning and growth.
Now, at 85 young years, I am healthier, happier, stronger and more flexible than ever and ready to partner with you as a reference and resource for living healthy — sharing the wonderful things I do for myself so that you can discover youthfulness at any age!
Life is a gift and I am most grateful!
