Mystery Surrounds Tokyo's 'Cornman' official
The identity of a Cornman, who tugs vegetables on a leash remains unknown.
A recognized character in the Tokyo area is referred to simply as Cornman.
While no one seems to know who he really is, the male has recently been captured on camera smartly dressed in black, and wearing a top hat.
The most bizarre aspect is that he is pulling along a large radish attached to a dog leash. The first reported sighting came from a Twitter user who posted a snapshot of the mysterious and comical veggie tugging man.
Sightings later poured in from throughout the city. Over the course of several days, additional pictures featured him at train stations and on an escalator.
He wasn’t spotted out and about during the midday hours leading amateur internet investigators to speculate that the sharp dressed man may have been at work.
Cornman was first noticed last year and gained popularity online after curious citizens took pictures and wanted to know who he was and what his veggie toting purpose was. Back then his vegetable of choice was an ear of corn attached to a leash rather than a radish.
