Number 5 - One of the biggest stories on March 15th covered John D. Rockefeller Jr.'s trip to Cuba. He ended up at the wrong Havana dock. And he got to the hotel only after being helped by an African American.
Number 4 - How did the young boys keep themselves busy in New Jersey back then? Apparently, by having a huge stone fight. Due to that fight, 'all traffic over the canal bridge was stopped and trolley cars were tied up for
more than half an hour.'
Number 3 - Hey - up for a soda in 1913? There was a half price sale going. Among the more interesting flavors - Phosphates, yes that's right - phosphates for 5 cents and then you could get a plain soda with syrup and cream, also for 5 cents.
