Clashes follow Friday prayers in East Jerusalem

STORY: Violence broke out in the West Bank and Jerusalem on Friday after Israeli police placed restrictions on Palestinians seeking to enter the al-Aqsa mosque for Friday prayers.
With rumors of a 'day of rage' being called for young Palestinian men to take to the streets in Jerusalem to protect the al-Aqsa mosque in the old city, Israeli security forces imposed a strict age limit on those who would be allowed inside to pray.
Only men over the age of 50 were allowed inside the Temple Mount and Israeli police together with Israeli Defense Force soldiers imposed security checkpoints on entrances to the old city, checking the ID and searching everyone wanting to go inside.
Young Palestinians denied access to the al-Aqsa mosque gathered in the alleyways outside and prayed together as IDF soldiers looked on.
