The day has finally arrived -- we just got a listen to NEW music from Selena Gomez. The new track is titled Rule the World and the sound of the song is very upbeat and pop driven and the lyrics repeat over and over again "our love was made to rule the world," but the lyrics also say "I'm conscious but I'm lonely, half way dead/tired of the things you never, you never said," AND "I try to tell myself this pain would never go away," with the song wrapping up with a line that says "forget you ever knew my name, forget forever, forget forever."

Just yesterday we brought you word, via MTV, on anther buzzed about song from Selena's upcoming album, and that track is titled "Better Without You," a song allegedly co-written with her pal Taylor Swift. We guessed that this would be the first single off her highly anticipated release, but on the heels of that story, Selena revealed some other information. During an interview at SXSW, SG told a reporter from Hit Fix that she did not work with Taylor at all for this album. She said that this is the hardest she's ever worked on an album and she wanted it to be pop electro, and she was very inspired by Skrillex and Britney Spears, and guys...she FINALLY revealed the name of her first single -- it's called "Come and Get It." And it will be out in April -- it's a fun dance track and a fun taste of what the whole album will be. So finally, the record has been set straight. It's always best to go straight to the source, right? If you want to hear Selena's new song "Rule the World," click the link below.
