There is no admission charged, generally, to visit this 17th c. château, its art inside and out (mostly contemporary art), and to enjoy its parks and features. It is in the Essonne département of Ile-de-France (the Greater Paris region) and there is free parking and you can get here by train, such as the RER train. This clip was done in early March. Take a picnic. There are toilet facilities in the château and plenty of lovely walks and places to sit. Purple ash trees were planted here around the time of Napoléon III and their leaves go from pink to purple. The château is 17th c. and in the "severe" "Louis XIII" style.
