Check out 3 beautiful botanical gardens.
Botanical gardens are a great escape amidst urban settings. Here are 3 of the world's most beautiful botanical gardens.
Number 3 - Butchart Gardens in British Columbia is a privately owned stunning floral estate which encompasses 55 acres of land. The grounds house a children’s pavilion with a Rose Carousel. Appearing like a colorful slice of heaven, 26 greenhouses cover approximately 2 acres while a tree and shrub nursery keep the surroundings in pristine condition.
Number 2 – Check out the Nong Nooch Tropical Botanical Garden located in Thailand. Initially slated to become a fruit plantation, the grounds consist of more than 500 acres. A tropical year-round climate allows the area to grow pineapple and cactus gardens. A panoramic view depicts the garden’s intricate, geometric layout utilizing both French and Roman designs.
Number 1 – Claude Monet’s gardens in Giverny, France is comprised of two main parts - a Japanese inspired water garden along with a floral display.
With an artist's expert eye, Monet selected and arranged the plants for his home. Although the garden is fairly simple, it is an enchanting, colorful and secluded spot. Many of Monet's famous impressionist paintings are inspired by or modeled on this garden.
