The Malaysian Army has launched an offensive against a group of Filipino rebels in the Eastern Sabah state. At least 27 people have died in fighting between the group and security forces. Nearly 200 gunmen slipped past naval patrols last month, and occupied a coastal village there. They're claiming ownership of the state. Al Jazeera's Stephainie Scawen reports.
