Kerry ends controversial Turkish visit

New U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry concluded his two-day visit to Turkey on Saturday (March 1) by paying his respects at the tomb of the founder of modern Turkey, Ataturk.

Walking with his delegation and Turkish officials to the mausoleum in Anitkabir, Kerry laid a wreath at the tomb, before observing a minute's silence and standing with his hand on his heart for a small ceremony.

He then posed with other U.S. officials on the trip for photographs outside the tomb.
