There's a little feud going on between Lil Wayne and Pitbull right now- over disrespecting the M.I.A.! Hey guys thanks for finding ClevverMusic on YouTube. Remember back during All Star Weekend in Houston when Lil Wayne performed at a Beats by Dre party, that happened to be near the All Star Game? Lil Wayne, who calls Miami home but was born in New Orleans, claims he was banned from NBA events due to the Miami Heat and called out the Heat in a rant, along with LeBron James, Dwayne Wade, and Chris Bosh. His tirade didn't sit well with Miami bred singer Pitbull.

In response to Lil Wayne's rant, Mr. Worldwide dropped "Welcome to Dade County" a song warning aimed at Weezy. The lyrics are over Baauer's "Harlem Shake" song and include, "Mouth signed check, ass can't cash/ One-time LeBron, Bosh, D-Wade, Flash," clearly referencing Lil Wayne's call out. Pitbull also raps, "You talk Miami, if you talkin' heat/ Moral of the story: Don't sh** where you eat."

Now, the latest update is that Lil Wayne has responded to the diss track via Twitter writing simply, "Dam pit bull bro I thought u was kool." No response rap, just a tweet. And yes, Pitbull did respond to Weezy's tweet with, "I am cool papo but imagine me s***ing on anything new Orleans which I was there for super bowl the big easy I loved it," and "The world shows me love and vice versa but Miami is all I got. No disrespect, just the truth." Seems like some miscommunication here as Weezy did apologize to the city of Miami after the All Star Weekend saying, "I do wanna apologize for the misunderstanding and whatever has everybody thinking that I have something against the city, because that's totally wrong... ain't got nothing to do with the city of Miami."

Seems like the two can easily work this out if they just agree to forgive and forget. Pibutll thinks Weezy has offended his city, but that was not Weezy's intention. Do you guys think Pitbull was right to call out Weezy? Who's side are you on? Thanks for watching ClevverMusic for your music updates, I'm Misty Kingma see you next time.
