Facebook Post Brings Hundreds to Funeral of Vet with No Family

Hundreds of strangers attended former British vet James McConnell's funeral in response to a worried vicar's plea spread across Facebook and Twitter that the man would not be given a proper send-off. McConnell had no family members and only a handful of friends, but a member of the Royal Marines Association said, "every other royal marine is your brother."
